Merton Oil Buying Group (MOBG) join the MOBG and you will save money!
Since October 2008, the MOBG has been saving its members a significant amount of money on their heating oil bills by consolidating all oil orders into a bulk order on a monthly basis. By ordering our oil at the same time allows a reduction in price offered by the oil supplier as they can save on oil tanker movements and deliver the oil more efficiently.I am extending this service to your area so that you can also benefit from this successful scheme. There is a wealth of information on my website including a Frequently Asked Questions and Answers section. Please visit www.mertonvillage.co.uk for further information. You will find all of the details for the scheme including my performance on negotiating cheaper oil prices on all the MOBG orders placed to date. Why not compare the prices that I have negotiated to date with those that you have paid in the past to see what savings you will make?
If you have any queries regarding the MOBG then please call Steve Blood on 01865 331183 or 07968 096338. Thank you.

Do you want superfast broadband?
Are you often left frustrated at the tediously slow speed and unreliability of your internet? Do you dream of being able to stream videos without that annoying ‘buffering’ symbol? Superfast broadband may be closer than you think. Buckinghamshire County Council, teamed up with BDUK and BT to try and increase the amount of superfast broadband coverage in the county. They have already secured government funding to improve access in those areas which currently have either no broadband access or suffer very slow or unreliable internet speeds. The funding won’t cover the whole county. However, if we are able to demonstrate there is real demand from our residents, we will significantly increase our chances of superfast broadband coverage in our village. The best way to do this is register your interest using the link below,
It takes 2 minutes and will substantially increase the village’s chances of getting superfast broadband.

Bucks County council has a small pot of money to run short computer workshops to help people start off with computing. They offer a free 2 hour taster session and then progress people onto a free scheme the libraries are running to help people improve their computer skills.
